No.6 Steam Boiler Project

The No.6 Steam Boiler Project aims to generate additional electricity by utilizing the high furnace gas currently released into the atmosphere due to the inadequate capacity of steam boilers, which allows cost savings by purchasing less electricity. Additionally, increased operational safety in steam/electricity production during maintenance and breakdowns, and reduced downtime costs are aimed by achiving cold backup of the No.1 Steam Boiler and diverting the coke gas used in the system to other facilities. The capacity of the facility with water-tube radiant boiler type is 160 tons per hour.
