60 MW TG-10 Turbo Generator Project

The 60 MW TG-10 Turbo Generator Project aims to retire the economically obsolete and inefficient 1st and 3rd No. Turbo Generators (from 1965 to 1977) by placing them in cold standby mode. Simultaneously, it seeks to enhance electricity production in the more efficient TG-10 Turbo Generator using the same steam quantity.  In this way, it is aimed to reduce carbon emissions by saving electricity and natural gas purchased. With a capacity of 60 MWe, an annual production of 504 GWh is targeted. Erdemir Engineering has contributed to feasibility, planning, design, procurement, and project execution processes within the scope of the project. The project was commissioned on October 30, 2023.
