Instead of the existing cigarette coolers that provide insufficient cooling, a finger cooler design that has full contact with the oven surface has been designed. In this way, more efficient cooling is provided. If the existing cigarette type cooler is used, water cooling is supplemented from the outside with a hose to compensate for the insufficient cooling, and with this solution, additional water consumption is prevented. It is aimed to contribute to the continuity of production by increasing the life of the stave that prevents the Blast Furnace from stopping. Work within the scope of engineering and technical drawing was completed in 2023.
